Honda Repsol Replica NSR150 For Sale in California

I didn’t even know they made an NSR150, but here’s a pretty clean looking bike in Orange County for $5100.

Honda Repsol NSR 150 SP Pro Arm

This motorcycle is currently CA Registered through 2009. There are about 35,000km on the clock (21,750mi).

It was imported originally from Thailand. The bike is in excellent condition with the only major flaw being the dent (pictured below) on the fuel tank.

It is mostly stock with very few modifications, which I listed below. This bike is a two-stroke. And, since it is a 150cc, it is freeway/highway legal. It also features a single swing arm. This is a very rare bike.

Aftermarket parts installed:
Stainless Steel Braided Front Brake Line Grips/Bar ends
Tyga Rear Sets
Tyga Carbon Fiber Exhaust Pipe

I’d try to use the dent in the tank as a bargaining tool to get the price down a bit. But it is a rare find in the states and it has title and tags.

1991 CBR400RR For Sale in San Jose

This one has a few miles on it, but it does have a title!

1991 CBR400rr NC29 CA street-titled – $5500 on Craigslist

This is a clear street-titled grey-market CBR400. The Odometer reads 33,000 Kilometers which is approximately 20K miles. This CBR400RR is in amazingly clean shape. There is no indication that the motorcycle has spent any time horizontally. Single key for all locks.

This CBR400RR was imported from Japan by a service member who got the bike properly titled and registered through the California DMV. The motorcycle comes with a letter from a Honda dealer indicating that the bike complies with California Emissions.

Additionally, the bike has an aftermarket high performance shock (Penske), a de-restricted CDI, brand new engine covers, new upper triple clamp, many new bolts (only changed for cosmetic reasons).

The price is: $5,500
This is the top end of the market value but this bike is clearly one of the cleanest examples that you will ever find.

The price is firm. No trades. No checks, money orders or nonsense please.
No money = No test rides!

I’d have to say the graphics on this one wouldn’t be my first choice, but it’s titled and de-restricted already. Is this the Baby-Blade you’ve been looking for Steve?

Yet Another VFR400 For Sale in the Bay Area

This one is a touch older than the one I posted yesterday, but is even cooler with the vintage colors and logos.

1988 Honda VFR400 NC24 For Sale on Craigslist (California, $4250)

1988 VFR400 NC24 Japanese import. If you’re looking at this add you probably know all about what this is and specs etc. This one is street legal and titled though for some reason the title lists it as a 1977 CB400F if this bothers you don’t call me and complain – I’m not messing with it. Bike has 26,000 KM on it or around 16K miles on it. Motor is strong. Carbs have been gone through. Has “cheap” Chinese replacement plastic on it but tank is original paint. Some numb skull rattle canned the old fairings purple and pulled the stickers off! (I will slap them if I ever find them) I have the old plastic and will give it to whoever buys the bike. This one is de-restricted ( 2.2K resistor installed in lieu of speed sensor cct) which removes the 112MpH top end limit. I’ve got another ignition box on order which should remove current 12,500 RPM limit and set it to 14,500 – but I’m not going to bother trying it out as I want to live to see 50. New parts just installed – Chain, Battery, Plugs,fork seals,exhaust pipe treated and plated, fan temp switch etc. It’s not perfect but I use it to go to work and back everyday. I’m getting too old to be squashed up like a pretzel for more than 30 miles so she’s going to have to go. On the flip side of that – this thing is more fun than a barrel full of monkeys in the twisties and can seriously embarrass neophyte boy racer types (you know who you are!) I’m only half heartedly trying to sell this thing so unless you’re seriously interested – please don’t bother me – and no I do not want to trade it for your Chevy Blazer or anything else but money. Thanks

I quoted the entire ad because it so full of detail and killer commentary! Bike looks like a fantastic and affordable early example. How many of these could there be in the U.S. that are titled and alive?

1991 Honda CBR400RR Baby Blade $3,700 For Sale in California

As a sucker for dual headlights, the 400rr always gives me a bit of a tickle when I see one for sale. Check out this highly attainable example, with title, for sale in San Jose:

RARE * 1991 Honda CBR 400 (NC29) CA. Street-Titled on Bay Area Riders Forum

This is a clear street-titled grey-market CBR400. The Odometer reads less than 16,000 kilometers (that comes out to be less than 10,000 miles!) This CBR400RR is not a museum piece or a beauty queen. The bodywork does show signs of cracking and repair. All locks use the same single key. (I have two spare keys for the bike).

No doubt this one is a bit rough, but can you think of a cooler beginner bike? Or first entry into track days or amateur racing? Or replace all the plastics with OEM, which couldn’t be more than a couple thousand, and ride this low mileage bike for the rest of the season and flip it next spring. This a buy!
