I posted a 1999 F4 a few days ago that had been upgraded to look like this bike.  As my previous post stated “Oro” means gold in Italian.  All of the gold bits on this F4 Oro are Magnesium with gold finish, thus the badge of Oro.  I think these are pure eye candy and am envious of anyone who owns one of these beauties.  This MV Agusta F4 750 Oro is #286 of 300, located in Miami and is listed for sale on eBay for $22,000 with no reserve or buy it now.  So, it is possible that you could own this for $22,000.

I just had to throw up some large pictures this time so everyone can see the detail, carbon fiber bits and Ohlins components. 

This super rare example of MV Agusta’s premiere motorcycle is one of only a hand full that made it to the USA. Most were coveted by celebrities like Jay Leno and Lyle Lovett who were able to get their hands on them. Only 300 were produced in total! It was featured in 2000 at “The Art of the Motorcycle” exhibit at the Guggenheim Museum in NY. Wesley Snipes rode this mode in the movie “The Art of War”. This bike has only 1,200 miles and has never been titled. Comes with Certificate of Origin. Ah yes…. It’s been 10 long years since BBoz was in his prime and killing it on the factory L&M Ducati. The 998’s are getting a little long in the tooth and the Bostrom editions are getting on about as well as Bens pork chops. Nonetheless, I still have a soft spot for these and I will probably never grow tired of them (or the Bayliss edition for that matter)

A flamed paint job makes anything faster right? It must add at least 5hp and if you don’t believe that then you have to admit it looks good on top of the carbon fiber fairings that were standard on the 155.

Up for auction is this 1994 Kawasaki ZX-7R Ninja. The bike does need some tlc but it is the rare M vin race replica edition. The M model came with a lot of Kawasaki factory race parts installed on it. The engine has higher compression, bigger cams, 39mm flat slide carbs, a close ratio 6 speed transmission and a slipper clutch. It has fully adjustable front and rear suspension with a remote reservoir rear shock and an adjustable swing arm. This model also comes with a factory solo seat and an aluminum fuel tank. This bike has 15121 miles on it. It sat for a while so it could probably use a good tune up. It has a Vance & Hines exhaust system on it. It looks like it has been laid over before but it didn’t get the seat cowl. I believe the fairing is the same as the L model so it shouldn’t be that hard to round up or you can buy new ones at bike bandit. The blinkers are missing but the wiring is still there. Please look at all of the photos before bidding. This is a really neat older sport bike that is a piece of Kawasakis racing history.

I agree with the seller 100% and then some, but I couldn’t help but chuckle just a little at “It looks like it has been laid over before, but it didn’t get the seat cowl.” Nonetheless, it is rare and by my dealings on RSBFS.com the M models have been the most elusive of Kawasaki’s Homologation models.

Yes, it’s been around the block and may have paid a visit to the curb… or two, but as I mentioned here exactly 1 billion times before- My beloved zx7r Ninja Turtles are awesome machines and beneath the rough exterior lies one bad ass machine!

I know we have a few Ninja whores that follow the site and all of them will be able to see the potential that this M1 has to offer…. well, except our long time follower Joey. Heck, I bet our buddy from Nebraska could whip this one into shape in no time and have it on display before his next bike show.

Yes, parts are hard to find. Yes, I know that it looks like all body parts look to have been touched by the curb with exception to the front and rear fender, but you have to look beyond those minor details. I don’t think this would be a Barber display piece, but it could definitely be a bitch’n ride for a bald, mullet sporting, beer gutted fella such as myself. If I only had a few extra Benjamins lying around…

Looks like a nice one with a lot and I mean a lot of modifications along the way. My favorite thing is the period correct Kerker exhaust. This is the exact same one I had on my track 400 back in the day; albeit mine was a little more beat up.

There are a few things that raise an eyebrow about this bike and the amount of money the seller is asking for it. It is a lot of cash for a FZR400! I sold my bone stock 90 for $4,000 and at that time it was the highest price I’d seen one sell for, but as of late I’ve noticed prices creeping up. *Usually* stock 400’s command more money, but that is not the case with this one. Back to the eyebrow thing……

1. Why lighten a rear rotor for the street?
2. The swing arm, brake control arm and chain guard are all painted black
3. It’s missing the Yamaha sticker on the tank
4. It’s missing the Yamaha sticker on the windscreen
5. The rear foot rests are missing
6. It has a super fork brace
7. Missing the stock front blinkers
8. It has spring pre-load adjusters
9. Has an odd FZR sticker on the tank
10. Has something funny on the gas cap ring

I know I’m being a little on the negative side about this machine, but don’t get me wrong- it has the lowest miles we’ve seen on a FZR400 in a long, long while and that is a good thing. I like this one, but #’s 1-10 are all things I did to my race bike and this one is said to have never seen the track.

You are bidding on a mint condition 1989 Yamaha FZR400. I am the only owner and this bike has never been raced or been down. It comes with a Kirker 4-1 exhaust system; a factory seat cowl plus a Corbin full seat; JEM Machine fork pre-load adjusters and fork brace;Dynojet carb kit and K&N air filter; Race Tech Gold Valve fork cartridge; Traxxion Dynamics Penske rear shock; Sproket Specialists front/rear sprokets;; rear disc lightened by TCM Prod.; Competition Werkes rear fender eliminator kit; Russell front/rear steel braided brake lines.; Ferodo brake pads; Flanders flush mount front turn signals; plus numerous TI and stainless nuts, bolts, and hardware; new Pirelli Sport Demons and probally other stuff that I just can’t think of now

Penske, Traxxion, Race Tech, Ferodo, and braided lines.. remove the lights and hit your local track with a $4,000 22 year old machine???

Up for auction is my 1993 Ducati 888 SPO. Only a very few of these bikes still exist today as they were only imported to the USA in 1993 (SPO) and 1994 (LTD). Here’s your opportunity to own a hand-built classic Ducati…

The bike has been meticulously maintained:

– Brand new AGM sealed battery- no more filling and lasts longer than the OE Yuasa battery
– All valves were checked: all 8 valves still in tolerance
– 2 Timing belts replaced (11,182 miles)
– 2 Injectors synchronized (11,182 miles)
– Oil and filter changed
– No leaks anywhere and the bike runs flawlessly

The bike has the following amenities:

I suspect these appeal to guys much like myself- Young, good looking, full of charisma with fond memories of WSB during the 90’s 🙂 Whatever your memories are there’s no denying that SPO’s are always worth a look. This one has a few ‘tasteful’ upgrades that doesn’t distract from it too much. Okay, so I have a pick with one of the ‘upgrades’ that I really have to scratch my bald head about.

The very bottom of the side fairings have been coated w/ Hercules truck bed epoxy black liner to be more resistant to damaging road debris.

Really? I have a hard time believing that any prospective 888 buyer would believe this is less damaging than a few rock chips on the lower chin. I know I would much rather have 100% original fairings with a few chips over (clap your hands) Hercules, Hercules, Hercules any day of the week. Just say’n….

One sweet ass NSR that has to be one of only a handful of low mileage, stock survivors.

This is my personal bike and it is as nice as it looks. There is one small, half dollar sized, blemish on the right side of the tail section and is documented in the photo. There is also some discoloration on the right lower fairing where the over flow tubes exit the underside of the bike that can be seen in the photos as well.

There is some evidence that it has been down on the right side at some point, but all of the bodywork was replaced except for the tail section. There is some light rash on the right canister, pipe and front turn signals. I’ve included pictures for a full disclosure, but as most people will realize stock NSR’s just are not available in any condition.

As usual, I’ve attached a lot of pictures for you to review. I recommend reviewing all pictures carefully and in doing this you will gain some appreciation for this particular machine and just how clean it is. I’ve never seen a cleaner 1994 anything-

Has new chain
Has new Michelin Pilot Powers
Carbs recently cleaned
New Spark Plugs
New Battery

This is a NSR time capsule and the only reason I’m offering it for sale is because I don’t think I can control myself from riding it. I’ve put about 30 miles on it and it runs awesome!

I know this is ‘only’ an ‘R’ version, but it is a beautiful machine and deserves to be on display and not abused.

Up for your consideration is a very nice example of Kawasaki’s last 3/4 sized homologation super bike.

I’ve always been a fan of Team Green and the N1 is tops on my list of bikes to own- someday.

From the seller:

For sale is an almost perfect example of the ZX7 N1.

For those who don’t know, the N1 was the ZX7 homologated for superstock racing and came with a wide array of race-oriented features out of the box. Just 20 of these bikes were imported into Canada!

The N1 is very different from the standard ZX7R, featuring
– RR Forks
– RR Rear shock
– 6-pot Nissin calipers
– Adjustable swingarm pivot
– 41mm Flatslide carbs
– Close-ratio gearbox
– Solo seat

Also note that the ZX7 comes with a slipper clutch. This N1 is entirely stock except for a very aggressive sounding Hindle carbon fiber full system exhaust which helps the bike breathe better and shed 10 pounds. Furthermore, for the collectors out there, this bike’s VIN ends in 748 which is also the displacement of the engine 🙂

Now, being a race bike the N1 shines at high speed. Everything from the twisting the throttle to dropping into corners is surgically precise. A sunday blast in the back roads or on the track is exactly what this bike was made for.

This bike runs smooth/strong and has been meticulously cared for. You will be hard pressed to find a regular ZX7 this clean, nevermind a N1 so I won’t sell it to just anyone.

And there you have folks- I would like to add a few things about the N1.

1. These also have adjustable steering heads
2. They have steel gas tanks whereas the K and M models had aluminum tanks.

#2 isn’t such a big deal, but #1 was only offered on the 1996 N1’s. I would also like to add it required special race kit parts to do it.

While horsepower was relatively unchanged across the three models of Kawasaki homologation bikes the N1 represents the culmination of all things that had been learned. The N1’s were as trick as any in 1996 with the slipper clutch, adjustable swing arm and steering head angle, huge brakes, 41mm flat slide carbs and close ratio transmission. Heck, you’d be hard pressed to find any motorcycle in today’s offerings with those specs.

While Derbi isn’t as well known, as other scooter makers like Aprilia, these are neat little machines that can serve up a grin to even the most experienced rider.

Pretty sweet looking little machine don’t you agree? But, as with all of the machines that come out of Speedwerks I wouldn’t expect anything less.

In case you missed it, I placed the first bid on it already and I’d love to have it. This would make a great pit bike, lake bike or a learner bike and would surely bring plenty of conversation your way.
