Reader’s Rides For Sale: MV Agusta F4 and Aprilia RS250(RZ350)

Welcome to another edition of our RSBFS Reader’s Rides For Sale! Do you think the acronym “RSBFSRRFS” is a little much? Probably.  This time we have a couple of Italian bikes for sale. But the comparisons between the two pretty much stops there. One is a beautiful MV Agusta and the other is mean Aprilia/Yamaha hybrid smoker race bike. Have a look!

1999 Aprilia RS250 race bike up for auction starting at $6,500. This is no standard RS250, instead it has a Yamaha RZ350 heart pumping in its chest as well as many other high quality upgrades. Check out the auction for this nicely done RS250 here!

2007 MV Agusta F4 1000cc 1+1 For Salein CA for $13,000. This bike looks to be in exceptional condition and the seller states that it has just had its first major service. Other than changed out rear sets and a mid pipe, this thing is stock. Check out the seller’s for sale ad here!

Be sure to check out some other awesome bikes that haven’t quite made it up to the site on the RSBFS Facebook page.

Collection Liquidation: 1993 Ducati 888 SPO For Sale!

Location: Boyne City, Michigan
Mileage: 67 (sixty seven)
Price: Currently $11,075 with reserve in place

Up for grabs here we have yet another bike from the collection that is currently being sold. You might recognize some other bikes from the collection such as this Bimota DB2 currently for sale and the Ducati 851 SP3 that sold on eBay last week.

The 888SPO has the same size engine as the 851 SP3, but was rated at slightly less power coming in at 104hp. The “SPO” moniker was specific to the US market 888, which was a combination of the high performance SP5 and Strada European models, though the SPO was more closely related to the Strada.

More from the seller:

Up for auction is a 1993 Ducati 888 Superbike SP0. This is a very clean motorcycle that I am selling for my Dad who is selling his collection. This bike only has 67 Miles on the odometer. It has been well maintained and cared for in heated storage.

The condition of the bike is fantastic. The paint on the front nose has been chainged to suit the original owners tastes. It has white instead of red on the nose. It also has the upgraded Termignoni exhaust.

Please take a look at the large pictures to get a better idea of condition and email me if you have any questions.

Like the rest of this collection, this bike appears to be in exceptional condition. The only thing I can see that wouldn’t allow this bike to fetch top-dollar would be the repainted front from red to white, although the paint work does look good and flows nicely with the bike. Did I forget to mention the bike only has 67 miles? Yep, that’s it. There is a reserve on the auction still with bidding currently at $11,075. Check out the auction for yet another classic Ducati here!

Italian Collectible: 1991 Ducati 851 SP3 For Sale!

Location: Boyne City, Michigan
Miles: 2,357mi (3,794km)
Price: $25,000 with no reserve in place!

Up for grabs here we have a beautiful example of the Ducati that changed it all  in terms of Superbike. It is clear to see that the 851 revolutionized Ducati superbikes with its L-Twin engine design, Desmo four-valve heads, liquid cooled engine, and electronic fuel injection. Check out this recent post of an 851SP1 that was featured here on RSBFS for an idea of the original. The SP3 featured all of the same goodies and housed an 888cc engine that cranked out 116hp. Also for the SP3, a stronger crankcase and newer clutch were added, as well as the higher sitting exhaust.

This particular 851SP3 for sale appears to be in exceptional condition with virtually no
modifications. The seller does state that the exhaust has been changed, but the original is included. Also, upgraded brake lines and some added aluminum sub frame are also changed from stock. Check out this 1995 Bimota that from the looks of the garage, was also for sale by this seller.

More from the seller:

Up for auction is a 1991 Ducati SP3 851 /888 Superbike. This is a very clean motorcycle that I am selling for my Dad who is selling his collection. It has 3,794 kilometers on the odometer (2,357 Miles). It does come with a free and clear title (owners manual and original warranty info as well).

The condition of the bike is fantastic. It has a spaghetti exhaust with verlicchi megaphones (comes with original exhaust too). It has upgraded brake lines and an added aluminum subframe around the front by the instruments (all upgrades came from Jimmy Adamo). The cylinder studs have also been upgraded. Also included with the bike are the original mirrors whih have been removed (parts shown in pictures).

A 20 year old bike with less than 2,500 miles on the clock in the condition of this one is
amazing in its own right. But if you add the fact that the 851 was such a game changer for WSB and the development of Ducati’s for years to come, and you truly have something special here. Bidding for the bike is very active with 24 bids at the time of writing this and the price already up to $25k with the reserve gone. Make the jump to the acution for this 851SP3 here!
