Custom 1976 Yamaha RD400

Available in Glendale, California is a 1976 Yamaha RD400 built as a Kenny Roberts replica. Claimed to be fitted with (possibly rare and very valuable) Moto Carrera goodies this RD400 has been transformed into a street legal race replica. This bike would be a very fun, and fast, weekend toy.

1993 Suzuki RG R Gamma 125 $1475

Located in San Diego, California is a Suzuki 125 RG R track bike for only $1475. The ad states this bike has inverted forks, big brakes, and seventeen inch wheels making it a capable track day machine. The ad does state that it probably needs to be gone through as the bike has been sitting–something that should normally be done if taking a bike to the track anyway. Edit: I noticed that this bike has been advertised several times at different prices; 5/26 for $1350 and 5/24 for $1775, this in addition to the $1475 ad I posted. I have no idea why sellers raise the price when something won’t sell, at least delete the old ad to hide the evidence! Just something to be aware–and cautious–of.

1990 Honda NSR80

Keeping up with the Friday’s mini influx is an excellent looking Honda NSR80, complete with Florida title. Located in Naples, Florida is a 492km (305.7mi) original NSR80. The seller claims to have owned the bike for the last eight years, keeping it in a temperature controlled garage, which, based on the condition is quite believable. Seller states that the bike may need a slight tune-up, which should be quite easy if the carb just needs an adjustment and not a full cleaning/rebuild. Currently on eBay at $2085 with three days left, this bike should definitely be considered if you’re in the market for a mini–also, a bike that you can be assured no one else has. Today, it seems, Derbi GPR50’s are quite prevalent. If you’re in the mood for something cheap on insurance, neat, rare and able to be wrung out within posted speed limits; the Derbi GPR50 just might be your bike–especially with several available across the U.S. Listed below is a sample of Derbi’s currently available in the U.S., I have excluded the ones in less than desirable condition and there may be some that I wasn’t able to find.
