1990 Honda RC30 VFR 750R #31 of 300

1990 Honda RC30 VFR 750RR for sale on the Orange County CL and located in Huntington Beach, CA.

Update: This bike has been sold

With an asking price of $12,500.00 this one will not be around very long so don’t delay if you’re in the market. RC 30’s have been well documented on our site and have been a long time favorite for most of us on RSBFS. Although not a perfect example like the ones we’ve posted in the past, this one has plenty of potential and the price certainly reflects the minor issues. One of the major pluses with this particular bike is that it still owned by the original purchaser and he has the original parts that will go with the bike. It currently has 14,344 on the clock and has been sitting for about 1 1/2 to 2 years so it will need a little TLC. Some of the pictures show where the aluminum has started to oxidize and it will need to be polished to bring it back to life, but that shouldn’t be a deterant to anyone interested in this bike as it has a whole lot of positive things to offer.

Have a look:

Quotes from the listing:

1990 Honda RC30/VFR750RR. #31 of 300 in the US. Liquid-cooled, 90-degree V-4 engine with: Titanium connecting rods, 2-ring racing pistons, gear-driven overhead cams with 4 valves per cylinder, magnesium rocker and side covers, close-ratio 6-speed transmission. Twin-spar aluminum frame with single-sided swing arm. Hand-laid fiberglass bodywork and aluminum gas tank. Aeroquip braided steel brake and clutch lines. Muzzy stainless steel header. Dyno-jet carburetor kit

This RC does sport an aftermarket exhaust, but as stated the owner does still have the original so this one could be put back to 100% original if so desired. For me with 14,000 miles it wouldn’t have to be a garage queen. Because for the price your going to pay, to park this one in the garage, riding it a few times a month isn’t going to hurt your wallet one bit. I’ve talked to the owner several times and he was super helpful and answered all of my questions. We don’t make it a habit to call sellers of RSBFS before making a post, but I had a genuine interest in this bike, but in the end decided it was too much for me to chew on at this point and time. So should you be interested in a low priced piece of Honda HRC history give Gene a shout and listen to what he has to say about his RC. And as you can imagine, he’s had a lot of interest already so don’t delay!

Brand new 0 miles Honda RC45 for sale!

Brand new 0 miles Honda RC45 for sale in the UK.

Just when I thought the brand new 0 miles RC30 from Doble Motorcycles in the UK was an incredible find, they hit me with a double whammy by offering a brand new 0 miles RC45 for sale as well!

This bike has never been used. It has been in a private collection.

This is a BRAND-NEW un-registered UK example.

It comes with it’s original genuine Honda single-sided paddock stand.

Accompanied with it’s original owner’s manual and service book.
100% standard in every way. MINT, MINT, MINT!
Oh crikey: Grown men broke down in tears when this arrived in the showroom; overcome by the presence of greatness; (no not you Mr Doble). It’s an RC45. One for the museum or your private collection; it would look a treat parked in a corner of your living room! Then again; how could you resist the temptation to register and ride it. What a dilemma. This totally stunning piece of Honda racing history is up for grabs. Pawn everything if you have to: It’s an investment and you’ll want it bad!
The RC45 is the successor to the legendary RC30, but unfortunately it didn’t achieve the same level of success as the RC30.  Nevertheless, it is still an iconic bike and is on many serious collectors’ list of bikes to have.  Personally, I like the looks of the RC45 but the RC30 is more iconic with its long list of race wins.
If you are seriously considering this RC45 for your collection, then the $39,000 asking price is probably not an issue, in which case may I suggest getting the matching 0 miles RC30 as well – these two great motorcycles deserve to be together in the same collection!

0 miles Honda RC30 for sale!

Brand new 0 miles Honda RC30 for sale in the UK!!

Honda’s V4 engined RC30 (also known as the VFR750R) is one of the most iconic bikes of all time (if not THE iconic bike of modern race machines), and they are quite hard to come by.  For those of you who don’t know about the celebrated history of the RC30, you can read about it here.

RC30s in good condition are even more rare, so imagine when I came across this with 0 (as in zero) miles!  We have a strict policy about posting international listings, but this one certainly qualifies:

This superb RC30 is for sale from Doble Motorcycles in the UK, and these are some of the highlights:

With Zero miles…this bike has never been used!

It has even still got the factory protective cellophane on the frame!

It even comes with the original owner’s manual and V55 DVLA document that would have been used to register it!

This is a real dream of a bike. It must be one of the last chances to get a new one!

This is probably the last chance to buy a brand new 0 miles RC30 and the asking price of $39,000 (approximately) reflects this rare oppourtunity. Click here to link to the listing on Doble Motorcycles.

The RC30 is one of the bikes on my “must have” list, but this one is far too nice to ride (assuming that I even have the money to buy it in the first place).  This one should be sitting in a serious collector’s climate controlled storage or in a museum!

1990 Honda VFR750R RC30

Located in Martinez, California is a two owner 1990 Honda VFR750R.  This RC30 has 11,473 miles and is in good condition but not perfect.  The bike has rock chips, scratches, and a crack on the lower fairing.  Other than the damage to the lower fairing this bike looks to be quite nice and having all of its original equipment.  Check out this RC30 quickly because the auction ends in less than 24 hours!

1988 Honda VFR750R RC30

Located in New York, New York is a driver condition 1988 Honda RC30 that will need some attention to become a nice, original, example.  The bike was originally imported into Canada and shows 3,671 kms (2,281mi), it has been in storage since 1999 and will need new tires, carbs cleaned and other associated maintenance for a bike that has sat for ten years.  The bike’s only physical damage are some scratches to the underside of the fairing.  The starting bid of $25,000 seems high compared to the RC30 in similar condition we posted recently that was a no-sale at $15k.

Located in Crestwood, Kentucky is an unoriginal, but, very cool looking 1990 Honda RC30.  This bike is a replica of Honda’s AMA Superbike, Smokin’ Joe’s race team.  This example shows only 10,181–street only–miles.  The seller states that the the bike was dropped but has been repaired correctly.  The asking price is $15,000; which is market correct for a RC30 but may be high for a non-original example.  See a different, but nice looking, RC30 on Craigslist here.
