2010 MV Agusta F4
Miles: 16,000
Clean California Title
Listed Price: $10,500
After a decade in production, the MV Agusta F4 had grown a bit long in the tooth. The original design was on the back foot from day one, a gorgeous bike with an exotic engine that was out of date the moment it was introduced. MV quickly increased the displacement to match its competitors, but the F4 had always struggled to justify its high price tag in pure performance terms. It was fast and handled well, but so did all the big bikes from Japan, and they were all just a bit lighter, easier to ride, and half the price. The F4 had good looks on its side, but even the exotic styling had grown a bit stale after ten years on the market. 2010 saw a comprehensive redesign of the engine, frame, and bodywork and the result was a machine that was lighter, more powerful, and easier to ride, thanks to sophisticated electronics and traction control, as well as an improved riding position. Some purists were appalled by the new styling, but the design aged well and the new bike offered a much needed boost to the bike’s overal modernity, while the price became surprisingly more competitive, compared to Japanese rivals of the time…

Up for sale is a stunning, 100% factory-stock 2010 MV Agusta F4 with 16,000 miles.
If you are looking for an unmolested, collector-quality example of Italian engineering without aftermarket modifications, this is it.
The bike is in beautiful cosmetic and mechanical condition.
With two original keys and new owner presentation box.
Always kept clean and dry indoors on a stand in my den.Just installed new front and rear Continental Race Attack 2 Street ($600 value, 50 miles on them)
Zero Gravity Lithium battery has always been always kept on maintenance charger.

I have priced the bike accordingly at $10,500 to allow the next owner to handle the service themself, or with their preferred mechanic or dealership.I am open to reasonable offers. No lowball or nonsense please.
The bike rides beautifully, looks incredible, and needs nothing but its scheduled maintenance to be a turn-key collector piece.

Admittedly, the second generation F4 isn’t as pretty or as “pure” as the original, but it’s still a stunning design and much better to actually ride than the original, with significantly improved ergonomics and a more modern electronics package. This example isn’t a particularly collectible version of the MV Agusta F4, it’s not a limited edition, or a high-spec model. But every MV Agusta F4 is inherently rare, exotic, and high-performance. I particularly like this color scheme, the subtle and classy grey with the traditional red frame peeking out. As the seller mentions, this one is due for a valve check, and is priced accordingly.

A 2000 first-gen with virtually no miles just came up on BaT. I’m more a fan of that early styling. Having said that, I wouldn’t kick this out of my garage.
The new owner will be allowed to service the bike. What a privilege!
The first gen bikes are prettier for sure. The second-gen bikes work hard to simulate the styling cues, but they look a bit forced. They’re better to ride though, with more humane ergos. I wanted to get one of the early bikes when they were still stupid cheap and then mess around with rearsets and mild bar risers to see if you could make one just a bit more livable. You’d still have to deal with it roasting your thighs in traffic though…
