The MV Agusta F4, often cited as the most beautiful motorcycle ever made, was the instrument that brought the legendary brand back to life. And it should be no surprise that it was designed by legendary Massimo Tamburini, the genius behind the other “most beautiful” bike design, the Ducati 916. There is a ton of performance and technology packed into those supermodel good looks, and the Senna Limited Edition model kicks up the rarity by a ton. Naysayers will claim this is a paint job exercise which turns the bike into a horrendously overpriced F4 – and to some degree they are right – but the exclusivity and the name brand cannot be matched. Today’s example is bike #074 out of a total of 300 produced.
To quote from a previous RSBFS post on another super rare, 2007 F4 Senna from a few years ago: Ayrton Senna was inarguably one of the greatest Formula 1 drivers in the modern era. He was sadly lost in the mid-1990s, but not before he put his stamp on the 4-wheel competition, made good friends with Cagiva boss Claudio Castiglioni, and started a foundation to aid the destitute children in his native Brazil. All three of those accomplishments came together during Claudio’s involvement with Ducati in the form of the first of three Senna Limited Edition bikes starting with the 916. Fast forward to Cagiva’s ownership of MV Agusta, and again the star power of Senna retuned – with both F4 750 and F4 1000 editions. Today’s example is the last of the Senna tribute bike lineup, the brutally fast and wickedly sensuous F4 1000 R.

These bikes are so rare that they do not hit the open market often, but every time they do the price seems to be on the rise. This particular example shows only 202 miles! And as fate would have it, this bike is being sold by the same exclusive dealer that offered the last 2007 F4 Senna we have seen. This bike has fewer miles than the previous example and looks perfect. The biggest difference is in the price (hint: prices on these models are appreciating). The ask for this two-wheeled unicorn adorned with F1 greatness is $47,000 USD, or best offer. That figure is deep in collector territory and commensurate with the rarity and condition. Price aside, you will be hard pressed to find a bike as beautifully photographed as this one, so drool on. Check out all of the details here, and Good Luck!!
Hmmm….two exact bikes with less mileage (38 miles and 125 miles) sold recently on BringATrailer for less than $30k. I guess it never hurts to start high and work your way down….
What Ray said.
Throw a number at the wall, see if it sticks. Nice bike, BTW.
He will never get near that price, it’s just an F4 with some phony “limited edition” graphics and name.
The more I see bikes like the more I ask why. Why spend all that money to not enjoy the bike? Why sit on it for so long? Did you think it’s value would rise like the stock market? And it is not even rare, these pop up all the time with no miles. Is the play just wait for the sucker to offer you a few bucks more?
The rarest sport bike of all would be an F4 or almost any Ducati that had the shit ridden out of it. That would be a bike worth owning.
