This RS250 has less than 400 original miles total. Located in El Paso, Texas is a 2004 Aprilia RS250 Cup bike with a 17 digit VIN but, no title. The seller states that this bike has only 400 miles and has been kept in storage for the last six years with only occasional trips around the block to keep things lubed. The bike does have some scrapes, holes drilled in the fairings from wood-blocks to protect them–the thought process on that one–and a bar end is missing. The asking price is $6,000 putting it at the highest end for the RS250 Cup bikes we’ve seen. This bike does have low miles and is the last year of production but, with the fairing damage it isn’t in museum condition as-is. Some information about the Aprilia Cup can be found here. If you’re interested see this bike on Craigslist here.

I would like to clarify the issues with the bodywork and frame.
1) I did not own the bike when the body was drilled and damaged by wood and other barn items that were placed against it by previous owner. Still cannot understand his reason for buying the bike, and storing it like he did.
2) Bike has an older 17 digit frame that was professionally installed by a Ferracci Mechanic when it was in the hands of the previous owner.
3) Previous Owner promised me the MSO and orignal frame, but due to some health circumstances, he was never able to provide these items as promised.
4) The price includes a second set of brand new aprilia stock oem wheels, cup bike spare parts and stand, and a spare tank and silver body seat section panel with trunk cover. Now that’s a great deal for the mileage and mechanical condition.
Thanks for finding this and posting it. I agree that it is a nice bike, but not a museum show piece unless the body was stripped nad professionally repainted. Remmeber that fiber body on these was suspect to spide web cracking right from the factory. That’s a racebike for you.
I also own numerous rare Honda NSR’ 250’s that are street legal and setup for racing (my personal bike is one I raced in 1998 in Japan). I will post in the near future.
Tim, Thank you for clarifying the condition of this bike and listing the items included with it. Feel free to shoot us an email when you decide to sell any of your NSR’s; we’d love to share them!
