This is a very nice, original, looking TZR250 with less than 1,000 miles on it! Located in Orange County, California is a Yamaha TZR250. The seller doesn’t state much other than that the bike “1kt low miles almsot perfect condition(sic)”. The seller does include “1KT” which indicates that this is the Japanese domestic version and not the U.K. market bike (2MA). The bike does look to be in very good condition and completely original as per what the seller is claiming. The seller makes no mention of a title or registration but, with the asking price of $6,500; I would imagine it is titled/registered.
These early TZR250s are 249cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin, tw0-strokes producing 50hp driving around 308lbs! This is the beginning of the TZR line that was very expensive for a 250 of the time but was race bred from Yamaha’s TZ experience. If you’re a collector looking to fill out your Yamaha or two-stroke collection, I wouldn’t hesitate to have a look at this one! See the bike on Craigslist here.
