The owner is stating that this is not a converted cup bike, but rather a 🙂 🙂 🙂 17 digit VIN # street bike. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 Okay, so now that the important stuff is out of the way lets move on to my thoughts.

These are probably my favorite RS250’s, but are followed very closely by the all silver versions. The day is drawing closer and closer for me to pull the trigger on buying one of these. But, for now I’ll just have to watch video’s and dream.

This one is chalk full with extra niceties such as new smoke windscreen, new carbon front fender, new brake pads front and rear, new Pro-Tek clipons, new woodcraft rearsets, new Ohlins steering damper, new DID gold -X chain and a set of Jim Lomas stainless steel exhausts with carbon fiber re-packable cans. As it sits it looks like you would just need to add gas/oil and a grin. I can’t imagine sitting at a stop light and observing all of the stares while riding a 2 stroke in the states. The average person would have to think “WT* is that guy riding? It sounds like a weed wacker.” Of course they’d be saying that and coughing at the same time because they’d be inhaling eau du Toilette 2 stroke parfume.

When these come available and are posted on RSBFS they usually go pretty quick. If you’ve been lurking, but are like me and haven’t pulled the trigger yet this one might push you to do so. It looks to be in very good shape and as mentioned has some tasty upgrades to boot. You can check it out

Here is the ultimate cornering machine, very light and one of the last street legal two strokes here in the USA. The bike is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic shape. It has a V-Twin two stroke engine manufactured by Suzuki for Aprilia along with a set of Jim Lomas Stainless steel pipes. The carberator jetting is spot on. All the lighting works and is NYS inspected. The bike was purchased by me in May 2006 and had 1700 miles on the clock. The bike was purchased by me from a well known Aprilia Forum member who is very familiar with these bikes. It now has 2336 miles on it as I have other bikes and have not ridden this bike very much. The reason that I am selling is that I am thinning out the stable. This bike always draws a crowd and you will not see another one like this at any bike night.

And there you have it- Super low miles, well taken care of and complete with go fast stickers.
