Location: Valencia, California Mileage: 40,454 Price: Auction, currently $3,050 Oh, the memories of seeing a clean sportbike from the 80’s. The late 80’s and early 90’s were my formative years when it comes to motorcycles. My first bike was an ’88 Hurricane 600 and I worshipped all sportbikes at the time. And it was then…
Location: New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Canada Mileage: 31,068 (50,000 km) Price: $3,250 Here’s an opportunity to take home a legendary bike. For those in the know, the GSX-R 1100 is an icon. When it was released by Suzuki in 1986, the power of the air and oil cooled 1100cc motor built an instant following. It…
Location: Scottsdale, Arizona Mileage: 14,152 Price: Auction, BIN $4,999 These bikes keep popping up here at RSBFS, and for me that’s a good thing. Being a big fan of the older (and newer) GSX-R’s I’m always excited to see original bikes still out there. Back in the day, they were like the current bikes today,…

This bike was a serious machine when it was released and the air and oil cooled motor put out extreme power (as…
Location: Malibu, California Mileage: 26,000 Price: Auction, $2,750 BIN I know this bike is a little older that what we usually see on RSBFS, but I like it for two reasons. One, it’s clean and original for an ’83. Two, I think the Interceptor has an important history in the sportbike evolution that deserves recognition.…
Mileage: 13,292 Price: $6,000 SOLD! I have had the privilege, and I do considerate it a privilege, to write up some very clean, early GSXR’s lately. This bike is no exception, and to make it even better, this is a first year GSXR 1100. That fact alone makes this a little more special than others. Indulge me…
