I’m always happy to see an old, original GSX-R pop up for sale. Everyone here probably knows that I’m a big fan of the GSX-R line. I’ve always found them to be representative of a real working class bike. A muscle bike. Great performance and really groundbreaking development from a relatively small company compared to other Japanese rivals like Honda and Yamaha.
Here’s the seller’s brief words-
1987 Suzuki GSX-R1100. This bike is all original and only has 7918 miles on it. It looks and runs great. There is a small crack on the upper right fairing and a small hole under the decal on the right lower fairing (see pictures). Other than that this bike is in excellent condition. Thanks for looking

As I say in the title, this bike is not perfect. It does have some scratches and cracks that are highlighted in the photos. However, it also looks very original and the mileage is low for an early slabby. Seller says it runs great and you’ll want to be sure of that as the bike is now 25 years old.
I don’t know where this auction will end. These have been going around the $5k to $6k mark. This may be a little less. Hard to say. What’s not hard to say is that they are going to get harder and harder to find and I’m betting will only increase in value over time.
