Okay, so not as racy as it’s more heralded race sibling 999r; the ‘S’ version still brings it and is more than enough for street duty. Equipped with the racy mono-post body work, Ohlins suspenders on both ends, 136 ponies and putting down a whopping 78 lb ft of torque. This one also has the very tasty 54mm Termi exhaust system installed for good measure. Nothing looks better than a piece of Italian motorcycle art dressed in blood red and it just screams “I’m fast!” Although with only 148 miles you’d need to show a little restraint until this one finished the break in period. Personally, I would have definitely needed to be sedated to help relieve the urge to not ride this beast no more than 148 miles in 6 years. Heck, I put 100 miles on the 400 just this morning.

I originally purchased this bike new in the fall of 2004 with the intention of converting it to a track bike but never did. It’s been stored in my heated and air conditioned garage it’s entire life. It has the Termi 54mm full system installed and a power commander and was performanced tuned by the Ducshop in Atlanta. The bike is just like new and has no damage what-so-ever. You may never see another 999S with only 148 miles on the clock.
I think I just figured out why this one only has 148 miles on it…. The owner was too busy cleaning his garage! Check that thing out..
