MV Agusta spat out a raft of tribute bikes based on its insane F4 1000R in the mid to late aughts, but perhaps the closest to the company’s heart was the F4 1000R Senna, named for Ayrton Senna, the late three-time Formula 1 champion. Senna had been a close personal friend of Claudio Castiglioni, MV Agusta president and father of the Ducati 916 and Monster and the MV Agusta F4 and F3.
2007 MV Agusta F4 1000R Senna for sale on eBay
The 2007 bike followed a 2002 Senna Edition F4, but was harder-edged than the previous version, and was blessed with a longer list of special suspension and go bits. Like the “standard” F4, the 2007 Senna made 174 horsepower at the crank, which was good for 0-60 in under three seconds, a high-nine-second quarter mile and a top speed within a gnat’s eye of 190 mph.
Cosmetically, the bike sported the color-me-obvious grey and red paintwork bearing Senna’s name, a contrasting red Alcantara seat and silver forged Marchesini wheels.
Mechanical changes include titanium nitride coating for the 50 mm Marzocchi USD fork, instead of the standard carbon nitride, the Sachs rear suspension is adjustable for high- and low-speed rebound and compression damping and braking is handled by Brembo Goldline monoblocs.
The F4 listed here is in excellent condition, as you would expect from an extremely rare and exclusive bike, and has clearly been stored inside. It has covered 4,700 miles since new, which is actually more than we would have guessed.
From the eBay listing:
The Senna is a special edition of the MV Agusta F4 1000R. With different paint, an alcantara seat, upgraded Brembo brakes, forged silver Marchesini wheels, a 50 mm titanium-nitride coated Marzocchi upside down fork, and a lightweight Sachs racing rear suspension this edition is truly special.
The 174 horsepower engine will help you get this one of 300 (only 65 brought to the US) bike moving.

The price is too high. I bought one for about 12 to 15 percent less a year ago with under 120 miles. Great bike and sentimental to me with the Senna name. I had a 2007 F4 1000 1 plus 1 whichwas just as good performance wise
