One sweet ass NSR that has to be one of only a handful of low mileage, stock survivors.
This is my personal bike and it is as nice as it looks. There is one small, half dollar sized, blemish on the right side of the tail section and is documented in the photo. There is also some discoloration on the right lower fairing where the over flow tubes exit the underside of the bike that can be seen in the photos as well.
There is some evidence that it has been down on the right side at some point, but all of the bodywork was replaced except for the tail section. There is some light rash on the right canister, pipe and front turn signals. I’ve included pictures for a full disclosure, but as most people will realize stock NSR’s just are not available in any condition.
As usual, I’ve attached a lot of pictures for you to review. I recommend reviewing all pictures carefully and in doing this you will gain some appreciation for this particular machine and just how clean it is. I’ve never seen a cleaner 1994 anything-
Has new chain
Has new Michelin Pilot Powers
Carbs recently cleaned
New Spark Plugs
New Battery
This is a NSR time capsule and the only reason I’m offering it for sale is because I don’t think I can control myself from riding it. I’ve put about 30 miles on it and it runs awesome!
I know this is ‘only’ an ‘R’ version, but it is a beautiful machine and deserves to be on display and not abused.
If you’re interested let me know via this post and I’ll respond privately or if it’s a general question I’ll answer on here so everyone can see it.
You can view it on ebay as well with a few different pictures
Cheers!

bah, I wish I had seen this a few days ago. I just paid off my 848. I would have kept the loan and bought this.
Hi Doug… Do you know if two strokes can be registered for the street here in California anymore? The ones that are here and registered are grandfathered in but I don’t think you can bring them in and get them registered anymore. Do you know?
Thanks, Steve Lang
Hey Jeff-
I can have it at your sisters tonight :o)
Let me see if she has room!
Ha! If the FZR is still there the answer is No Vacancy!
Nah, I took it down to Richmond last July.
Very interested in this, please contact me
Hey Steve,
from one person to another whos gone through the California registration process for the last 2 years , the answer is no. California will want to see the EPA stickers on it ( that was always the hang up) and all the other safety stikers, in the past you can always get those from other bikes and place them on your bike, Now, DMV biggest hang up is the 11 digit vin, that wasnt a problem before and is the case now. it took me years to get mine through and I would wish it on anyone, even though the bike already has a tiltle and was register from another state already in your name (which was my case) it still took me 2 years , & no matter who you talk to or what some DMV supervisor says, will you always get a defferent story every time. If you show up now with all stickers and it passes inspection, because of the VIN they will want to issue you an ” off road” sticker
sir,
i live in greenville, in. would like to see this bike.
regards,
eric

There are services that will title this bike in another state and you can reregister it online. Some insurance companies won’t insure it if it’s out of state but Gieco and some others have no problem with that. I’m doing that with one of my bikes.
I hate California!
Anyone who’s considering making this a track bike should have thier ass kicked royally – there’s cheaper bikes in worst condition that would be better don’t ruin a good bike!!
Title it in Florida.. thats how i got my RZ500 street legal
Doug,did this finally sell?
