The Ducati MH900e was a major step forward for Ducati. Essentially a reissue of the same tried and true air cooled, 2 valve Desmo twin based on the Pantah design of the 1980s, the mill has been updated with Marelli fuel injection ensuring easy cold starts and positive fueling throughout the rev range. The frame is the classic Ducati trellis design, but that is where the artwork starts. Many of the chassis lines have been been stylized, including the spaghetti-like asymmetrical single-sided swing arm. Ultimately meant to be a re-visualized version of the Mike Hailwood model for the 2000s, the MHe was offered for sale via an internet bidding system only. Welcome to the future.

Here’s your chance to own an exquisite version of an incredible and highly collectible bike.
We all know the story. This bike sold out the entire run of units the very first day it was offered for sale. From that starting point, prices simply started going up… and that trend continues today. With each of these limited editions numbered, and with so many unique and bespoke pieces, the MHe is really a one-off sort of model that stands out wherever you see one parked. I say parked, because few have been ridden any serious miles – partly due to the teeny, tiny fuel tank, partly due to the torture rack riding position, and mostly because of value. Take today’s example, with a massive TWO MILES. That is just about as new as you can get, and practically ensures that this bike finds another coveted parking spot in a museum or display stand. You can check out all of the details here. Good Luck!!
