Update 12.11.09 11:00pm: We’re going to be late due to some rare freezing rain in the Willamette Valley. We might miss our own meet-up, but enjoy the show!
We’re going to the Seattle show next Saturday and going to meet up with the guys from VFR Discussion Forum at the Pyramid Ale House. Here are the details from the VFR thread:
The show this year is the 11-13 of December. Show info is at: http://www.motorcycleshows.com/Seattle
Let’s meet up again for lunch on Saturday the 12th at the new VFR (or where it ought to be, Honda) at 1:30pm, then head over to the Pyramid Alehouse. I’ve reserved the back room from 2-4pm. That’ll give everyone 4 hours to numb their minds on bikes before a heavy lunch with beer.
Our group is listed under “VFRD”, so give them that at the front when you come into the Alehouse. In the past there has been a bit of confusion, so be ready with my name also, Keith Matteson.
I went last year with my buddies Paul and Scott and had an absolute blast. This year I think there are 6 or 7 of us meeting up there to enjoy the show! Most bikes are available to try on, there’s a huge vendor area, and there was a cool trials bike demonstration too. Naturally we’re geeked to go up again this year and I’m inviting any of our readers to meet-up with us. I know we’ve got lots of readers in the Seattle area, so come on out and I’ll buy you a beer!
Here are my crappy snap-shots from last year:
See you next Saturday,
dc
I’ll try and make it Dan, weather permitting I will ride my NSR down.
Oh man I can’t wait, last year was a hoot and this year will be better! Look forward to seeing seeing the familiar faces and meeting some new folks at eh GTG. -Paul
