Some days it is really hard to pass up on a clean and original CBX… especially a pre-1980s model that sports very few miles… regardless of where it is located. This particular example is also housebroken, and undoubtedly the reason for the condition; paint, plastics and graphics all seem to last much longer indoors. I don’t know what the riding season is like in Denmark, but snow and ice would also make it harder to jump on and go for a ride, keeping miles low.
Introduced in 1978, the CBX was Honda’s tour de force – a bold statement of technological chest beating. With six cylinders, twenty four valves, double overhead camshafts and six carbs, the CBX oozed power and size. The bike looks impossibly wide, despite Honda relocating many of the accessory components from the ends of the crank to behind the engine. This is also a bit of a porker, tipping the scales at 600 pounds dry. Forget all of that and fire up the beast that can rip off low 11 second quarters with ease, while still remaining docile enough to be a sport tourer or boulevard cruiser.

Let’s follow the seller’s suggestion and review some pictures:
Before you jump on the CBX bandwagon, be warned: this beautiful specimen lives in the land of Denmark. That may be a long way to ship for North American readers – especially considering the number of units availabe in the States. However it is rare to find these in such original condition with low mileage, which makes this Nordic monster so unusual. Not sure about the discrepency between the pictures and the seller’s mileage report, but some fact checking could easily sort that out. Check out all of the pictures and details here. Good Luck!
MI
I had two of these , one with a 6-1 when I was 17 and another bone stock when I was 19 . I regret selling the bone stock one as I paid only $500 for it with 22 000 kms (10 000mi) on it . Now they are worth in the $10 000 range depending on the condition . Good luuck to the seller …looks really clean !
