At Rare, we work hard to dig up the hidden gems that make your day. Sometimes we hit that sweet spot and spark your inner kid—and sometimes, admittedly, we drive you nuts. It’s never our intention to annoy, but we know our audience is passionate. Some of you are die-hard Italian sportbike fans; others live for Japanese machines. We do our best to strike a balance—and yes, we show love to sportbikes from other corners of the world too.
Today’s pick is a 1999 Laverda 750S Formula 747 – a great example of ’90’s Italian ambition.
It is estimated that only 200–250 units of the 750S Formula were made in total. The “747” special edition is even rarer—believed to be limited to around 50 units worldwide, though exact numbers are disputed and hard to verify. I’m sure if any of our readers have these stats, they will share in the comments.
Good luck to the buyer and seller!
