**Update** This bike had a $15,000 bid and the reserve wasn’t met, but the owner lowered the reserve to $15,001. Is it just me or does that seem a little funny? Hopefully, this SPS has a new home.
Good looking, well taken care of 916 SPS for sale on // <![CDATA[
document.write('eBay‘);
// ]]>. I’m a huge fan of the 90 homologation production bikes and this one sure is nice. The SPS’s don’t come available that often so if this tickles your fancy – Get on it!
This one has had some work done by the “Ducati Master” Eraldo Ferracci. The seller has the following to say…
Has never been raced. Has never been in the rain. Has never been down. Bike is kept in the Living Room on stands. If you are a collector this is the bike for you, it is Museum quality. Has 1026 Stroker kit, engine set up by Fast by Ferracci. Bike was Dyno tuned by Eraldo.
For me, this is the body style to have. Ducati set it up with the good stuff from the factory and then Ferracci made this one better. The owner appears to have pampered it and it shows. At $15,500 starting bid the reserve hasn’t been met, but it has a buy-it-now at $16,500.00. I did a quick search and couldn’t come up with the original MSRP, so if anyone has that info pass it on and I’ll post it up.
