This is a 1993 Kawasaki ZX-7R M1, Kawasaki upgraded this years sport bike with ram-air induction, upgraded pistons, cams, and trick components like an adjustable swing arm pivot. Other notable upgrades include, aluminum gas tank, solo tail, compression and rebound adjust ability in the 41mm front forks, remote reservoir shock, 39mm Keihin FCR flat slide carbs, and close ratio transmission.
This bike has been stored inside my temperature controlled museum for the last 10 years. Gas was drained from carbs and gas tank prior to entering the museum. Tires are old and the bike will need a complete service. Bike is sold as is without warranty. Will help with loading the bike with shipper. $1,000 deposit required within 2 days from the end of auction. Clean Oregon title in my name. I believe that I am the 3rd owner, I purchased from a dealer that was the 2nd owner.

Looks to be an exciting final hour. Last night the bid was $531, this morning it is $5,300. Many people watching and bidding. This bike is a favorite here at Rare – and I’m looking forward to seeing how the bidding ends.
Good luck to the buyer and seller!

Bid to $8700, reserve not met
This is a personal fav. Very rare to see a ‘93. I’d say ‘92 models seem to pop ip more often. But even those come up less often than Honda’s RC30. This indeed looks like it lived in a museum for sure. Look at those fork tubes! It’s only achilles heal is those white mirrors. Time discolors them all. A minor thing. This model always reminds me of Scott switching to world superbike during ama superbike that year. Much fondness for this icon from ‘93. If it sells i am going to suggest it lands between $32k and $34k. Not thinking it will get to sold status with this particular listing format with such a low starting price. But what do i know. I ‘m the guy that rarely spendsmore than $2.5k on any bikes. Too rich for my financial strata..
To Michael’s comments about where this will end up… I note there is a like model on Iconic presently (Buy It Now, not Auction) with an ask of $24779. Original pipe, but it looks like the frame/swingarm may have been polished or the factory finish otherwise ‘altered’.
Auction ended at $17.3k, Reserve not met…
