The seller calls it an Interceptor, but check the bodywork and all you’ll find is VFR750F. Honda left the Interceptor name off the US bikes for this generation, reportedly because insurance companies were punishing anything that sounded too fast. Rider Magazine’s VFR retrospective has the story. The name came back in 1994.
1993 was the last year before the ‘94 redesign. Gear-driven cams, single-sided Pro-Arm swingarm, and that V4 whine. A fresh service and new tires check the boxes most buyers want to see.
Then there’s the white. One longtime VFR owner’s site claims Honda had white wheels left over from 1990 and built a white bike around them for ‘93.
VFR people, is that story true? And is this the best-looking VFR of the ’90s?
Good luck to the buyer and seller!

I bought a used 94 years ago but I really wanted the white 93, this one looks pretty good? I can’t tell because of the low quality photos.
That is extremely low mileage for one of these, and yes, I think this one had the coolest styling of all the iterations. A friend wanted to sell me his in white some years ago, and it had 120K miles on the clock!
