Now we know – the way to get comments is to ask for no snide comments, lol. Honestly, life would be so boring without comments. Let them be colorful, snarky, complimentary and above all, brutally honest.
In the spirit of honest reviews I did a search to see what is out on the interwebs for the Hurricane. I came across a new site called MotorcycleSurvey.com and though they did not have a review for this specific Hurricane, there was one for the 1000. This reviewer clearly and honestly stated, “Most fun I can have with my pants on”. I’d say he doesn’t mince words.
According to Rare Reader, shawkrider, “Even a ninja hides from a hurricane.”
This bike looks mint and ready to find it’s new owner.
Good luck to the buyer and seller!

I seem to remember that Doug Polen did quite well on one of these.
I remember when these came out along with the Kawasaki Ninja. Fun times. Note – this is a good bike for a collector but the best edition Hurricane is probably the F2 or F3
I remember seeing the first of these in my hometown in 88’. I was smitten. I had a RWB 89’…….one of my favorites. A great motor. Bone stock and without mods it made a friend’s jetted and piped GS750E look silly. That Supertrapp would set off car alarms in La Jolla…..don’t ask how I know 😂 . The one I wish I kept……but adulthood was beckoning.
Before i had a drivers license I consumed car magazines from the grocery store (thank you mom). Never looked a bikes. Couldn’t turn my head. Early 1990?! Episode of 21 Jumpstreet features a multi-episode story arc featuring bikes. Cruisers mostly. But peripherally a red hurricane got on camera. Snap! What is that?! That was when sportbikes got on my radar. And my uncle finally found someone interested in his left over motorcycle magazines.
