Well, another clean CBR1000F has popped up (that’ll make two this week) and I just had to write this one up too. Again, very clean, low mileage and looks original. And as mentioned in the previous post, this bike wasn’t the edgiest machine available at the time but still made for a potent ride. While not as potent as the game changing CBR900RR early released in ’93, the CBR1000F returned to the Honda lineup in ’93 after its brief absence in ’92. The bike would eventually leave the Honda line for good in ’96. However, for its years of production, the CBR’s 130 bhp 1000cc in-line four and 160 mph top speeds made for some good times.
Here’s the information from the seller-
AMAZING CONDITION 1993 HONDA CBR 1000F. THIS BIKE WAS PREVIOUSLY OWNED BY A FRIEND OF MINE WHO IS 47 YEARS OLD AND OBVIOULSY METICULOUSY MAINTAINED THIS MOTORYCYCLE. I AM THE SECOND OWNER (51 YEARS OLD) AND I HAVE CONTINUED THE MAINTANENCE AND ADDED SOME EXTRA’S. THIS BIKE HAS LESS THAN 10,000 MILES AND RIDES AND PERFORMS BETTER THAN NEW. SINCE I HAVE OWNED IT, I HAVE ADDED A VERY COMFORTABLE CORBIN SEAT, NEW VANCE AND HINES EXHAUST, NEW JET KIT, RECENTLY TUNED, TOP GRADE SYNTHETIC OIL, CHANGED ALL FLUIDS, FLUSHED AND FILLED RADIATOR, NEW TIRES, 2000 MILES AGO, NEW BATTERY IN 2008.
THIS BIKE IS AWESOME, VERY FAST, EXCELLANT HANDLING, AND IS LOOKING FOR A NEW HOME WITH SOMEONE WHO WILL CARRY ON THE TRADITION OF TOP NOTCH CARE AND RIDING ENJOYMENT. GOOD LUCK. THIS BIKE IS ALSO FOR SALE LOCALLY SO I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS AUCTION AT ANY TIME.
YOU CAN PICKUP THE BIKE AFTER ALL SALE FUNDS CLEAR. DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE.
GOOD LUCK.
This bike looks clean. Check the photos-
For a bike that’s almost 20 years old this thing looks to be in great shape. Appears that maintenance has been taken care of and upgrades (again the Corbin seat) are solid. The mileage is pretty low considering the age and if well maintained the bike should run for years to come. And I think the looks of the CBR1000F are timeless.
At $3,600 or maybe even less, I think any potential buyer will be getting a lot of bike for a reasonable amount of cash. And while this might not be the sportiest sportbike on the planet, I think it offers plenty for most of us (certainly me). Agree? Check it out!

I had one of these for about 10 years – put ~60k miles on it before giving it to my brother. 111hp and 65 ft. lbs of torque on the dyno. It was an easy bike to ride all day long, and though it was a bit of a pig (~600 lbs) it was still fun to ride.
Something to check out – my old bike now belongs to motorcycle touring author Dale Coyner, who is building an electric bike based on the chassis. Pretty cool – check out his build blog at http://www.appalachianhighways.com/?cat=10.
