oh my god… can you imagine how sick that tz would look with the lowers on there? holy crap… what a bike.
Pretty sure that TZ is Dick Gruhn’s bike. I’ve been on track with it and it is the real deal….one bad sumbitch and Dick knows how to ride it AND take care of it. A better 2 stroke guy would be hard to find. And yes, I WANT IT IN MY GARAGE!
Bucket list: #14 “Ride” a 500cc two stroke GP bike. I guess this is my chance. I say ‘ride’ because it will most likely be an embarrassment for the bike.
To ride one is one thing, to own one another altogether. First off, how do you even value such a machine? For such a rare and high-strung device, is the purchase price apt to be the smallest amount of money you spend on it?
@riot… yeah… no idea how you could even put a price on something like that. is it worth $25k? maybe. is it worth $75k? sure… i guess. who freaking knows. all i know is that i want to ride this thing BAD.
I have a Suzuki rg500 f1 racer from the same era the Yamaha like the Suzuki are so expensive to keep going I just look at mine and start it now and then cost me £7750 Gbp to keep it going for 18month so only buy the tz500 if you can afford it I live in the uk so parts are probity cheaper in the USA good luck if you buy it
