Sure we all love high-strung homologated specials and superbikes with big horse power. But riding these bikes in the real world can be a bit unrealistic and cause you to cramp into a pretzel fairly quickly. May I present an alternative: The Yamaha SRX250. These bikes have a moderate 32hp from a single cylinder 250cc engine, but weighs in at a mere 270lbs. Big power and stiff suspensions don’t necessarily mean fun to ride.
The SRX250 up for auction here sure looks to be in good condition. Only a few small paint chips here and there and a slightly scrapped muffler appear to be the only outstanding imperfections. With only 8,563 miles, this bike seems to be well maintained and looked after.

You won’t see many of these rolling around as they were only sold in the U.S. for one model year.
