A resurgent Triumph found success in the 1990s making large displacement sportbikes powered by triples and inline fours, but the company never intended these machines to go head-to-head with track-ready Japanese sportbikes. They dipped their toe into the supersport formula with several unsuccessful generations 600cc inline four-powered Daytona 600 that were not very well received and are largely forgotten today, but the company finally found their footing in 2006 with the three cylinder Triumph Daytona 675 seen here. The bike wasn’t perfect, but was impressive right out of the gate: it was very slim and light, with a flexible engine that had miles more midrange than the more conventional four cylinder 600s of the competition. For the 2011 model seen here, power was a claimed 126hp, dry weight a claimed 356lbs, and top speed was 156mph, numbers that fail to describe just how characterful, flexible, and fun these really are, assuming you’re up to the very committed riding position.

The 2011 Triumph Daytona 675 SE is a sport motorcycle with a 675cc engine, three cylinders, and a sleek sport bike design. This particular model in Caspian blue color is a 1 year only model has a mileage with only 14477 and is being sold without an existing warranty. With a clean vehicle title. This Triumph Daytona 675 is a high-quality and reliable choice for motorcycle enthusiasts looking for a thrilling ride.
This being said the only difference for the special addition is the color underneath it is a gen 2 Daytona 675. Which were made between 2009 and 2012. I’ve owned 4 Daytona’s in my life and at one time had a collection of all 3 generations. Anyway I hate seeing things collect dust in the corner and this one just sits in my bar collecting dust. Id rather see it go to someone who will enjoy and ride it. Sense I have owned it I have put roughly 5000 miles on it. All maintenance is up to date and the tires have les than 500 miles on them they were installed January of 2023 and are Michelin power 5. all maintenance has been professionally done at EDR performance in Portland OR.
I rarely see these second-generation Daytonas up for sale, and I really think they’re my favorite version, as they feature the more distinctive early styling with evolutionary mechanical improvements. This particular Triumph Daytona 675SE is particularly striking in this unusual blue that I’ve never actually seen in person. It seems like the second gen bikes do command a premium, the color is unusual, and the miles are very reasonable, but I think the $9,000 is definitely a stretch, especially considering the damaged tail section and exhaust, as well as that completely horrifying tank protector.
