This 1998 Ducati 916 SPS is one of approximately 100 units produced between the end of 1997 and early 1998, and this example was acquired by the current owner on BaT in May 2022. Now showing 5k miles, the motorcycle is finished in red with white accents. Power is provided by a 996cc desmodromic L-twin paired with a six-speed transmission, and equipment includes a six-speed transmission, Termignoni carbon-fiber exhaust mufflers, an inverted Showa fork, an Öhlins monoshock, a single-sided swingarm, triple disc brakes with Brembo calipers, and 17″ Marchesini magnesium wheels as well as a gold-finished trellis frame, a monoposto tail section, carbon-fiber trim, and a Fast by Ferracci side stand bracket.
