This particular replica is fairly rare and it was my first Aprilia back in 1995. The pictures don’t do this bike justice; it’s a deep electric purple and fluorescent orange, and totally bitchin’. Doesn’t state the mileage so WTF?? Let’s assume its low and the bike is real nice, then well worth the asking price. The only concern is that this bike and the others up to year 1997 use a Marzzochi front fork and the seals for these forks are pretty much only available thru an Aprilia dealer. In this case you may have to contact one overseas as these bikes never came to the US, but try a dealer here first (all 2 of them). Otherwise the other bits that are missing will have to come from across the pond also. Loris Reggiani gave Aprilia its first 250GP win back in 1987 and ended his career trying to develop the Aprilia 500GP in 1995. Located in Orange County area on Craigslist for $7800 click here for the jump.
