Quite rare, but not unobtainable, are the aluminum framed FZR 400’s. Located in San Jose, California is this 1989 FZR 400 with an asking price of $2750. This isn’t the most desirable year, but, looks quite clean for being twenty years old. FZR’s (Specifically the 400’s and 600’s) need to be carefully examined to make sure they haven’t been beat continuously for their whole lives. This example only shows 9K miles and looks well cared for–still having its original plastics. If you’re in the market, this would be worth looking into in this condition and at this price.
