Our pals at Iconic Motorbikes have come through once again with a surgically clean example of a classic sportbike we children of the 1990s lusted after in the bedroom wall poster days. This one is in excellent-but-not-perfect shape, and is a one-owner machine with fewer than 10,000 miles on it. It shows some minor scrapes and a tiny crack from a tipover in the garage, but beyond that the bike is spotless. All the aluminum parts, rubber and soft surfaces look absolutely clean and very well looked-after. It has clearly spent is life indoors when it wasn’t being enjoyed.
1996 Honda CBR 600 F3 for sale on eBay
The 1996 Honda CBR600 F3 is smack in the middle of Honda’s 1990s golden age, and represents what at the time was a fine track weapon with enough manners to be accessible to most riders, especially in countries where tiered licensing isn’t a thing. The aggressive, multi-colored graphics certainly file these bikes in a definite time period, but I have long defended their garish slashes and neon colors. Think of it like riding a pair of Air Jordans.
From the eBay listing:
This excellent example of a Honda F3 comes to us on consignment and we’re thrilled to have her. Only one owner since new and CA kept from the start. Currently on CA plates and with registration paid through June of 2019.
If you’re considering a 600, an F3 is a fine choice! Super reliable, great mileage and just cool as heck to look at!
This example is 100% stock just as you see in the pictures and has never been raced, tracked or beat up in any fashion. The owner ended up buying a new CBR1000RR and is limited on garage space, otherwise he would of kept it.
Only flaws on the bike are a small crack on bodywork under the right signal, a rub on the oem exhaust and some small marks on the right side lower from a very light fall in garage but it was caught so no broken tabs. Everything works as it should, comes with a tank bra for riding and not rubbing on the tank. Only 9212 miles!
Come pick her up while before she’s gone, this is one of the best paint schemes with a touch of neon and the vibrant red, black and white. If you’re looking to add some accessories, we can help you there as well as we have great pricing with all the aftermarket exhaust, etc suppliers.
Fly into LAX, only 15-20 minutes away and RIDE OUT!
Honda built F3s by the million, so this bike will never really be considered rare, but the majority of these machines were used and abused, so finding one this clean 22 years on is something of a feat. This bike is best purchased as a fun weekend ride, as opposed to a collector investment, but for the classic sportbike enthusiast, it is a must-have.
