The 1990s saw fierce competition between the Japanese Big Four in the middleweight 600cc class. Bikes needed to perform not only on track and in showrooms, but on spreadsheets, and every component was ruthlessly evaluated and designed to save money wherever possible while providing the required performance. Kawasaki’s entry into the class, known in the US as the Ninja ZX-6R from 1995 on, featured a 599cc engine with four cylinders, four valves per cylinder, dual overhead cams, and liquid cooling, backed by a six-speed gearbox. Pretty standard stuff for the class at the time. But where the Honda CBR600 and Yamaha FZR600 used effective but somewhat heavy cost-saving steel frames, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R used a lightweight aluminum twin-spar unit that helped keep the weight down to a relatively svelte 430lbs dry and allowed for a 153mph top speed and best-in-class acceleration.

95 Kawasaki ninja ZX6R I think Original fairings with slight signs of aging, restored tank, motor and brake upgrades, new Metzler tires, Muzzy exhaust, Nitron R3 suspension-weight and height adjustable. The 1995 Kawasaki ZX6R is a sport bike with a 650cc engine, making it ideal for high-performance riding. This specific bike has a mileage of 28,000 miles and is in a striking green exterior color, perfect for adding a pop of color to your collection. With its clean vehicle title and United States origin, this Kawasaki ZX6R is a reliable and stylish choice for motorcycle enthusiasts looking for a classic sport bike with a proven track record.
This Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is a pretty decent example of a stylish middleweight 90s sportbike. Miles aren’t low, but the bike appears to be largely original, aside from the Nitron shock, Muzzy exhaust, turn signals, fender eliminator, and possibly the braided brake lines. Purists should feel free to chime in below. It’s a cool little bike with nice patina and the period performance parts are a nice touch, but I think that asking price is very ambitious. These are obviously getting harder and harder to find as few have survived into the modern era so values definitely have increased, but maybe not quite that much yet. It certainly doesn’t inspire confidence that the seller claims the bike is a 650cc machine…

Agreed, given the condition of this one, extremely optimistic price.
Dream on…
Yeah, it’s a neat little bike. Just a shame about that price.
Poor condition maybe $1200-$1500 if you’re lucky.
Don’t care for the AI generated ad. So obvious. Nice looking bike. I purchased a 92 new. It was a great commuter bike in the Bay Area.
