Another Italian V-twin for sale, but only this time it’s not that other brand. Yes, a 2003 Colin Edwards – Texas Tornado – special with a laundry list of bits that make it even more appealing than it already is.
Located in Boise, ID with an asking price of $9,000.00 this one is sure to please. Complete with racer boy graphics, a whole lot of carbon fiber, Leo Vince exhaust (that looks to be a titanium piece), those ever sweet blue anodized OZ wheels shod with some new stick icky and one of my personal favs – black Sato rear sets.
This is a whole lot of bike for the money and would make for a great weekend canyon carver or a nice living room piece. The only thing that turns me off about the Aprilia Mille is they appear to be too big. I’m not sure why, but it might be how the tail section sits up or the bulbous looking fairing… But,either one of those little quirk’s wouldn’t keep me from throwing a leg over it and giving it a proper flogging through the curves.
Aprilia’s attention to detail and little add-on’s like the anodized triple clamp and the jet fighter engine looking tail light really set these apart from the crowd. Take a look and give it a once (or twice) over.
Quotes:
Has approx. 6400 miles, new tires (rear still has stubs)6K mile service completed. In 2 years I have only put approx. 500 miles on this bike. The year I bought this I also purchased a Honda XR 650L thinking I might try more dual sport riding. Now I have decided that I want to really pursue the dual sport riding extensively and sell more of my sport bikes, or maybe Im just getting too old to remain crouched for that long, more likely the latter.
