2002 Ducati 998S Bostrom #119 of 155 with only 17 miles on the clock.
Located in the heartland of America, also known as Elkhart, Indiana. Bob submitted his beautiful, un-molested, un-ridden bike to us for consideration and of course I couldn’t resist another opportunity to post a B Boz #155. It sometimes seems as though once we post particular bike for sale there are three or four more to follow and this one is no exception. We’ve had several up within the last month and I believe this is the lowest mileage I’ve posted. Bob’s has his Bostrom priced at $16,500 and I believe it is relative in comparison to the others we seen. I do know of one other Bostrom, located in Iowa that has 2 miles on it, but who’s counting anything below 50 right?
The 998S replica models received several upgrades from the base model that included Carbon bodywork, Ohlins forks, and the better four pad Brembo front calipers. Just to kick that dead horse one more time… The Bostroms replica’s are my favorite of them all and if I had the dough I’d travel a few hours north and take this off Bob’s hands, but I have a slight problem in that I’m about $16,499.00 short! Anyone want to spot me? I’m good for it, I swear!
Just for the fun of it here’s a video of Ben ripping it up on a qualifying run:
Cheers!
