While the RS50 may not have the imposing presence of its larger siblings, it possesses a unique charm that appeals to those who appreciate the artistry of motorcycles.
The allure of collecting these diminutive sportbikes lies not only in their sleek and sporty appearance but also in the thrill they offer when ridden. The two-stroke engine delivers a potent punch, making every twist of the throttle an exhilarating experience. The distinctive sound of a well-tuned RS50 is music to a collector’s ears, a symphony of power and performance.
Beyond their mechanical prowess, these bikes carry a piece of Aprilia’s racing heritage. With a design that pays homage to the brand’s storied racing success, the RS50 evokes the spirit of the track, even if it’s destined for the open road.

RSBFS
As Mike reported here on RSBFS in 2017, “When it comes to two strokes, this is how the rest of the world generally sees them: smaller bikes for entry level riders and cheap transportation. Common across Asia and Europe, small-displacement bikes fall into either the scooter or the repli-racer category. Each has its own merits, although the scooter category is the most popular. Thankfully, manufacturers realize that young riders aren’t always sensible; some are motorsports enthusiasts. Thus, the small-bore repli-racers exists.
We have covered 8 different Aprilia RS50s here on RSBFS so feel free to use our search function if you want to take a look at some non-fish-eye-photos.

You’ll never tap the potential of these on the streets of the USA. Be smart and start googling and emailing kart tracks near you. Ask if they allow bikes. These are outstanding trackday bikes. Riding without regard from speedlimits and cars is the path to joy.
Without that outlet, the potential here is only a tiny fraction. Do your homework and find the path to bliss. Highly recommended.
I already have 6 mini roadracers so I must pass on chasing a #7.
Why am I substantially more interested in the Koenig widebody SEC Benz right now?
@Michael…….The Tail of the Dragon in North Carolina lets you release your inner racer spirit….many people ride it at the upper limit of performance…..
