This bike looks incredible, but the only problem is the asking price. It’s $16k! It does have very low miles and a title, but this is an outrageous premium considering the market and other examples of the Lucky Strike replica’s that we’ve posted on this blog.

Saw this last year and couldn’t help writing to the guy; never heard back. Told him I was glad to see him raising the bar (price) for a clean example. Also thanked him since I have one with an original 1800 miles, so mine should fetch $20k (lol).
To the right buyer this may be a fair price since there are very, very few available on the planet in this condition. But my biggest problem with the listing is the guy’s obvious condescending attitude. Anyone who would openly criticize any question as being “stupid” must never have heard of the saying that there is no such thing as a stupid question, only one not asked. Wonder what he tells his kids. 🙂
Hey guys while it may seem a lot of money, I have tried getting some clean low mileage orginal LS’s out of Japan for the last year now (Exotics are what I sell for a living) and the last one I got was $9000.00 in Japan, landed price was approx $11,000 for a truely clean bike and no Hong Kong body parts. I sold it in Daytona for $15,000 outisde the steps of the J wood auction. I currently have/own (not for sale) one of the more rare, Full power LS models (Factory 72HP) with some goodies on it and would not dare sell it for anything under $18K if pressed to do so. So consider that I have seen a lot of the bikes offered here and can tell you that while $16K is not a “can’t refuse” steal of a deal, it is what the bike is worth, if it is a mint bike as the mileage would suggest. Just my two cents. OH and I have no idea who this seller is/was or even where the bike is located, just commenting on the particular bike if it exists. Also I am no expert but have been importing and selling these bikes for the last 18 years so I like to think I have a decent idea of value. Also I get more ooh’s and aahs at the ride ins on my LS or Rothmans than my buddy on his MV or 1098.
im very interested please e mail me.
