I am selling my 1983 Yamaha Seca XJ 650 Turbo. This is a rare bike built during the turbo wars. Yes it is a factory turbocharged bike It’s been sitting and needs a little bit to get it on the road It was running 2 years ago. The carbs were cleaned back then It needs a throttle tube, the original was lost somehow, maybe another carb clean, and probably turbo seals I have a clean title in hand The price is $2,200. I priced it for a quick sale

Like an Old Spice commercial, this bike makes a statement. Not sure if your lady-friend will be stealing this for cruises, but for sure it will turn heads. I would say this is desirable to collectors who appreciate anomalies or “edgecases” of motorcycle engineering. No?

LOL, I tried one of these out back when I had the world’s worst bike, an XZ550, some parts of which were used on the Turbo. It was an ‘interesting’ ride, I thought the fairing kit pretty futuristic at the time.
