1993 Honda NSR 250
Location: Denver, CO
Mileage: not given
Price: $5,500
We’ve seen them before so there’s no need for an introduction.
Honda NSR’s are totally illegal and I can’t believe anyone would own one and break the law…. If you believe that I’ve got a bridge to sell you.
We love NSR’s on RSBFS.com and this one makes me blush and get all giddy. The owner states this is the only Kosinski replica in the states.. Maybe they’re correct, maybe they’re not, but I was a huge Kosinski fan back in the day even though he seemed a little hard to deal with so, I like this one.
The price seems fair enough, but there isn’t much info given about mileage, condition, rebuilds etc.. There is a phone number listed on the CL ad so if you’re interested you can give the owner a shout.
Cheers!

This is the only one in the USA with the John Kosinski Movistar body work. It is a 250 v-twin 2 stroke as fast as any 600cc.
Has kit dryclutch and is deregulated so it is making about 70hp. A street legal GP bike! Ready to ride!
That is way too close to me to not go have a look. Can anyone confirm if that is a factory offered or custom livery? I just spent the last 2 hours searching all the NSR forums I could find and found no mention of it being available from the factory.
I don’t know why I didn’t think of this earlier but I looked up John Kocinski’s racing history and he didn’t ride professionally for Honda until 1997 so I doubt Honda made a livery in honor of him in ’93.
I own 2 NSR’s and I go on the history of the nsr pages and didnt see it. Let us know if you get it!! NSR’s are alot of fun!!
There was no Kocinski NSR, and the ad only states the bodywork being replica (front fender is definitely not stock). 70HP is a bit optimistic unless it was a factory prepped racer.
