Original owner had bike for the first twenty-two years.
Then a collector had it for three years.
Then a second collector sold it to me recently after owning it for seven years.
Completely stock except for brand new Delkevic exhaust (have receipt).
Have stock exhaust in storage – goes with bike.
Brand new Haynes manual still in wrapper.
Have clear Michigan title in my name.

Over 10 years ago, in 2013, Jared posted a ’91 GSX-R1100 here on RSBFS that was selling for $6,500 with 12,400 miles. “Always good to see a clean GSX-R1100 up for grabs and to see a bike of this age cared for. These may not be seen as major collector’s pieces like the first-gen gixxer is quickly becoming, but as those become unobtainable, these will follow. Check the market for second-gen M3’s or late 60’s Stratocasters and you can see what will happen. These weren’t as sought after as their older counterparts back in the day, but they are now. Having said that, the asking price of $6,500 is on the high side of where we have seen these models go. But I bet in a couple of years that might seem like a bargain.”
Here we are over 10 years later and Jared was right. That would be an amazing bargain today.
