Up for bids is a 1989 FZR 1000. I ‘m the second owner of the bike and it has never been wrecked or ridden in the rain. The bike is completely original except for the rear tire. There are minor nicks and scratches on the bike but they are not that noticeable. There is a small scratch on the rear swingarm behind the pipe that was caused by sticking a slip on test pipe on. The test pipe turned and allowed it to contact the swingarm. The bike is ready for a rider or a new place to be stored. My asking price for the bike is $4000.00 obo.
Doug’s email was prefaced by, “Not sure if this meets your criteria but…” My response: Hell yes it meets my criteria! These aren’t that common anymore, and certainly not in this condition. And at just over $1 per mile, I think it’s a fantastic buy!
