There is something poetic about a Craigslist ad with 2 photos and a one word Seller’s Description. I do prefer this to the AI bot generated description we saw recently. A man of few words is still a man.
If you have ridden one of these or have any info to share with potential buyers, please comment. Your insights are valuable.
Good luck to the buyer and seller!

Awesome bikes. I loved mine. Bought it nee. Fast road tourer think FJ1200 comfy but Suzuki big bore 4 cyl fast . It was like a ground attack missile. You could do big miles fast and comfortably. Highest indicated speed Ive ever done on any bike (ive owned all kinds) at 280kmh. And if the road was a bit longer I would havd got more i think. She was still gagging for it.
I had one of these in 1988 and put over 40k miles on it in 4 years. It didn’t get a lot of love in the press but was a great all around bike with a great GSXR motor tuned for even more torque and a sweet shifting gearbox.
“Firm” as the one word description might be referring to the tires
I’m always curious on these older bikes to what degree you can even get parts for them. In the case of this one, you can still get some fasteners and gaskets, etc., but generally speaking, larger hard parts are no longer available. That being said, the value of these old machines approaches zero in my opinion. $2000 is a lot of money.
