This is a YZF750R, and it’s a genuinely underrated bike. It gets called the “forgotten 750” a lot, and that’s not far off. It launched the year before Ducati’s 916 arrived and quickly got overshadowed by it, even though on paper it had 125 horsepower, six piston front brakes, and handling that held its own against the GSX-R750 and ZXR750 of the era. The ’97 and ’98 model years are mechanically identical, running the same spec that won Sport Rider’s Bike of the Year a few seasons before it.
Seller’s description reads like it was typed one handed while walking out the door, but the bones of it check out: low miles, upgrades, sits more than it rides.
Who needs this in their life?
Good luck to the buyer and seller!

Appealing and i agree, underrated. The R7 coming out at the same time and the R1 really overshadowed this bike. I don’t think I feel dissappointed in the riding experience.
Now that exhaust is the fly in the ointment since your odds of finding any kind uf functioanl replacement are certainly going to be pitiful to non existant.

I have the exact same YZF 750. to me the trick will be if the EXUP valve works. Would be a pretty good buy at $5000
Thanks for the input!!!!
