When I got to Germany I bought an 87 new, in Black Red Silver. Then I bought an 89 in Black Silver. The difference between the two bikes was night and day. Both bikes were extremely good and lots of fun. Ground clearance on the 87 is a big deal especially when you fit a header and 17inch wheels. The 87 was really good over roads that were not perfect. Great bike, I need to get another one. Should have never sold it. Remember Formula USA.
Beautiful bike! I would love to have it in my collection next to my 86 750, 89 and 91 1100’s, but the current price is above my pay grade. I’ve never been a fan of the seller Ken Kaplan. They have pushed a lot of questionable bikes in the past IMHO. I do want to see how they perform “A Rotisserie Detail Just Completed”.
