Up for auction, a very nice 1986 GSXR 1100 R Sport Bike, One adult owner, a doctor from Canada, and this bike was built for that market. 21,000 kilometer, only 13,000 miles since new.
Very nice shape. Original paint, solo and buddy seat. Huge three ring service manual, original parts in box after some small up grades. New tires, brakes, chain and sprocket. Every thing works. Runs and ride very nice……like an old vintage Ferrari!
Clear Texas title. Located in San Antonio Texas, I can help with shipping set up.
IMPORTANT!!!! Winning bidder must must send a $1000 deposit right at auction end by Zelle or Cash App only. Full payment must be made within one week by cash in person or Wire-In only. No checks! Thanks

Gixxer love is alive and well. We have seen many here on RSBFS and there is not much more I can say about the bike that has not already been said, so I decided to look for some stories.
Rick shared this experience on R1 forum, “I had an 86 GSXR 1100 in 1986. Put 56,000 miles on it before it was stolen. I had a Supertrapp Superlite pipe on it. I did the Sunday Morning Ride in California back then. We had a visitor from Germany on the ride one Sunday. He had that Vance & Hines pipe on his GSXR 1100. I saw him eyeing my bike and when the ride started up again after a small break, he was on my tail checking me and the bike out. I was with 2 of my buddies that were AFM racers and in the top 3 in their classes. We went into a right hander in the Lagoon section and this guy just RIPS by me and is catching my 2 racer buddies at an inceredible rate. I thought maybe I was slow that morning but Barry and Jeff are haulin. They cranked the right and the German guy just kept on going straight. Off the side of the rode with a slight uphill dirt mound and the guy was in the air accelerating on the gas. MAN that Vance & Hines pipe does sound SWEET! He landed in the water and jumped up and was okay! The following trailer on the ride picked him up and brought him to breakfast where he now had the BEST story to bring back to Germany with him. He was enthusiastic at the least. Great times on the GSXR.”
We had a visitor from the Netherlands once that took Red up on his offer to ride around the Vermont roads. Thankfully the bike came back unscratched, and for sure our guest went home talking about more than the foliage, lol.
Any fun GSXR stories to share?
I had one of these in 86. I had a friend who had a 68 Triumph that I let take a ride. He rode it out a very twisty road called Snake Route. He came back with his eyes wide. He said, “I thought, this isn’t that fast. It felt like I was going about 45 and everything seemed ok. Then I looked down and i was going 95.” The GSXR 1100 was a revolution in 1986
