1988 Yamaha FZ600 like new low miles
Location: Woodinville, WA
Mileage: 5,800
Price: $2,600
WOW! 5800 miles. Never dropped, adult owned. Not modified in any way. Stock, clean, title in hand. First time offered for sale.
WOW! Is right! Unmolested, low mileage classic on the cheap! Run of the mill bikes in any flavor don’t come up like this very often and when they do they’ll usually do a little more damage to your wallet.
It’s no secret I’m fan of this generation of Yamaha’s and quite frankly I’d have a hard time holding back if it were a little closer to me. I’m also surprised Dan didn’t have the urge to pick this one up because I know he has a soft spot for these as well.
I enjoy seeing bikes like these as much as I do a $40,000 1098R, but only because I marvel at how people can hang on to bikes for so long and not ride them. Kudos to the owner- I like it!
Check it out here and contact the seller
Cheers!

It sounds like an excellent buy for sure. I’d just like something a touch newer to satisfy the itch I’m currently try to scratch 😉

This one has me so excited, wish the listing had a little more details. Anybody live close and have time for a look see?
this is a very nice example of the fz, but i gotta say, there’s nothing fun about them other than their looks. horrible to ride.
I know this bike. It spent *ALOT*of time outdoors here in the rain. Rust on all fasteners, cracked lower fairing, clear coat bubbling. Not quite the pristine example. Good start for a restoration, but is an aircooled FZ worth it? They are buzzy little bastids.
Thanks for the insight Joe, much appreciated.
