Rare opportunity to own a 2001 Ducati 748R, finished in yellow, #803 of 2000 produced, with only 346 original miles. This bike has spent roughly 22 years on display inside a dealership and was never put back into regular use. It is not currently running and will need a full service before riding. Mostly original with no performance modifications. A street-legal kit was installed early on, which included black plastic ram air intakes with integrated turn signals (replacing the original carbon fiber units), headlights, and tail light. Original carbon fiber ram air intakes are not included. owner’s manual is missing. Clean title. True collector piece and a great candidate for preservation or recommissioning. Asking $22,000 OBO Serious inquiries only. This is the 748R not the regular 748 that was mass produced, this also has extremely low mileage compared to others. The bike was priced with others like it that have sold with similar mileage. Don’t message me trying to troll

In the past 17 years, we have posted seven 2001 Ducati 748R models, specifically in yellow, and each post attracts comments.
All the way back in 2015 Reader 916 clearly stated, “Riding Ducati is something special. Riding Ducati R is like from another world!”
Tad backs this up in 2018, “If you are a sportbike fan, the 748R might seem like the poor cousin to the 916/996/998, a bike you only bought because your funds wouldn’t stretch to the more expensive, larger-displacement version. But no “R” model Ducati really takes a back seat to anything: they were homologation specials, and the 748R was designed to allow the smaller-engined v-twin to compete in World Supersport racing.”
Gook luck to the buyer and seller!
