As our regular readers have likely figured out by now, Gary in Utah has an incredible collection of rare and fast Japanese iron, and it’s all in perfect or close-to-perfect shape.
1994 Honda CBR900RR for sale on eBay
The 1994 Honda CBR900RR you see here is no exception. The first year of the more modern-looking “foxeye” headlight design, this bike wears its years very well. It did not escape a garish only-from-the-90s magenta, purple and white paint scheme, but I have always been a sucker for the needlessly and unapologetically loud schemes that decade wrought. Bikes like this have lights and license plates, but they’re not practical, and they needn’t look too classy and buttoned down.
The bike has done 13,000 kilometers, or about 8,000 miles, and was not originally a U.S. market machine, as all the gauges are metric. The machine is largely stock, but does have a period Yoshimura carbon can and a matching header-back exhaust system.
As with all Gary’s bikes, it has good tires, fresh fluids and is clean enough to eat off. There are a few blemishes and scratches, but no cracked fairings or dents.
From the eBay listing:
Up for auction to the highest bidder with NO RESERVE is a 1994 Honda CBR900RR Fireblade with only 13,087 kilometers (8,131 miles). This bike is one of my favorites. It is in premium condition with only a few scratches, chips and handling marks throughout. The left middle cowling has a piece of fairing that has broken off the tip. No cracks in the fairings or dents in the tank. Fairings are 100% genuine Honda. Motor is stock. Bike has been tastefully upgraded with a Yoshimura carbon fiber muffler and full system header, steel braided brake lines and aftermarket windscreen. Factory original muffler and header included in sale (buyer to pay for shipping). New tires have less than 300 miles on them. Bike runs like the day it was new. Just serviced with new fluids and new battery. This bike rips! No disappointments with this one. Selling cheap! Everything must go! Not sure what its worth or where the market is on this one so I’m going to sell with NO RESERVE on this Honda Fireblade.
Bike comes with Utah State title and is titled as a motorcycle for road use. $500 deposit due immediately after auctions end thru PayPal. Balance due in 5 business days via Check, bank wire or cash in person. Please text 801-358-6537 for more photos or any questions.
Happy bidding!
The auction is no-reserve with a few days left. With this bike’s condition and provenance, it’s a sure-fire classic and definitely one to watch.
