Location: Pickering, Ontario, Oh Canada! Mileage: 7,942 Kms Price: $16,000 BIN
If you like insanely light and fast bikes with super peaky power, then you should pick up this RZ500. Everyone here knows about two strokes and how awesome they are. And the RZ is a one of the more popular bikes on RSBFS for a reason.
From the seller-
THIS IS A GREAT EXAMPLE OF A RZV 500 R
THE BIKE IS USED AND IS 28 YEARS OLD THE BODY PANELS ARE IN GOOD SHAPE BUT NOT PERFECT
THE MILEAGE IS IN KMS
BUYER IS FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ARRANGING, PAYING FOR AND ORGANIZING ANY AND ALL DELIVERY ARRANGEMENTS!! BUYER IS ALSO FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL DAMAGES INCURRED DURING DELIVERY..BY BIDDING ON THIS MOTORCYCLE YOU ARE AGREEING TO ABOVE CONTIGENCY
And the pics-
This bike looks like it’s withstood quite a bit of weathering. Maybe not a big surprise after living in Canada. Otherwise looks pretty stock and the mileage listed isn’t super high. You’ll want to do your homework to know exactly what you would be getting.
So you’ll have to see if this particular RZ is right for you. If it looks like it may fit your need for crazy, two stroke speed, then make the jump!

This is the same bike that rmd has for sale in Japan!
Is this somebody scamming???
Is this a scam? Rmd has this bike for sale on japan
This does look like a real “R” model. Aluminum frame, slightly smaller carbs. It was a Japanese market-only bike.
Pictures are taken in Japan. Buyer be aware.
Listing has been ended. Good catch guys!
That num nuts also has a RG400 for sale, was sold for 6K in Toronto (Nuak) recently and he wants 11k now, I bet its not his bike, scammer!
Just to clear up a little miss information about the RZV model that Kg23 posted. Not bagging on him. It has the same carbs as the RZ/RD. it is jetted down via needle jet, needle and main jet. That’s the only difference between the two bikes carb wise. Also the RZV was imported to Australia as well as other European countries so they are not just Japaneese domestic.
The auction’s been pulled as “no longer available”. Or maybe it never was. Having lived in Japan for going on 22 years now, I concur that the photos were taken somewhere in this country. That ain’t Pickering. 🙂
Not to be a dis-agreeable type but Lawbrkrrcn, The RZV was only sold in Japan, others who bought it did so outside of the dealer network, through an importer. I own both the RZV and RZ500’s. The RZV exhaust is also different than the RZ, has some kind of restriction in it. also some other smaller differences, biggest one is the aluminum frame.
