Straight from BaT
This 2010 Ducati Multistrada is one of three bikes to participate in Team Ducati’s record-setting runs at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC) in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013, and it is the only one said to remain in private hands. It is powered by a 1,198cc Testastretta L-twin paired with a six-speed transmission and it currently wears its #43 black, gray, and white with multicolor racing livery over a red-finished trellis frame. The bike rides on 17″ OZ Racing wheels, and further racing modifications include carbon-fiber trim, an Akrapovič two-into-one exhaust system, and triple disc brakes with Sicom carbon-ceramic rotors and Brembo calipers. It was decommissioned for racing in 2013 and subsequently fitted with a headlight, a taillight, DOT-compliant tires, rear turn signals, and passenger foot pegs. This Team Ducati Multistrada was purchased by the seller in 2014 and is now offered with a scale model, removed bodywork, spare parts, manufacturer’s literature, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
