Legendary – 2007 MV Agusta F4 1000 Senna #109/300

A now-legendary presence at any formula car race, Ayrton Senna won three F1 championships but succumbed to injuries sustained in a 1994 crash at Imola.  The Senna edition of the MV Agusta F4 1000 is a tribute and benefitted a charity formed in his honor, and has some significant improvements in the numbered edition of 300.

2007 MV Agusta F4 1000 Senna #109 for sale on eBay

Using the 998cc engine Agusta had recently re-designed from their F4 750, revised Marelli fuel injection put the Senna well into a new power category with 174hp.  The red trellis upper frame used alloy frame connectors and held 50mm Marzocchi forks and Sachs monoshock.  Brembo gold-line 6-puck calipers are radially mounted and squeeze 310mm front rotors with 210mm rear.  The fairing design uses shades of carbon, black, gray, and the red frame and Alcantara seat to elegant advantage.

Nicely photographed by a Miami specialty dealer, this F4 1000 has but 1,700 miles and appears flawless.  With its excellent sub-systems, and priced around $30K when new, no owner upgrades are required or expected.  Along with a video showcasing the exotic sound – here – , the owner comments in the eBay auction:

This is the excellence of MV Agusta, in honor of Ayrton Senna, the legend. Senna has graced the F4 1000 with exclusive characteristics such as:
State of the art engine making 174 HP, 998 CC liquid cooled, fuel injected, four Cylinder inline engine with 6 speed manual transmission. A new injection system, the Weber Marelli 5SM, for better power control. The most advanced Brembo four-caliper radial brakes available. Carbon fiber fairings. Quad Titanium racing exhaust. Bike runs extremely well and is like new! Always garage kept.

Despite seeming to need a special edition for every season, the MV Agusta cycles were very well designed with help from friends like Ferrari and beautifully made.  The performance was at least equivalent to the superlative materials.  With the new ( and used ) prices requiring a singular rider, an F4 1000 sighting would be notable.  Seeing a Senna edition – with its understated design and exclusive components, even among MV’s – that would be an occasion…

Forget about it! The 4th 1198s Corse Edition for sale!

2010 Ducati 1198s Corse Edition with 200 miles for sale in Rhode Island.

OK, I’m officially taking the 1198s Corse Edition off the list of rare sports bikes!  This is the 4th 1198s Corse Edition that we have listed within the span of 3 weeks…

2010 DUCATI 1198S CORSE SE Special Edition.  No reserve auction. This bike was bought locally at Razee Motorcycles.  New retail is $24,995. Never driven in the rain.. Always heated garage kept, on a battery tender. Has only 200 miles. Never taken to a track day. Never been laid down. Never even been dirty. The bike is in perfect shape, no scratches, No dents or any other defects noted. This bike is pristine shape.
The bike is Adult owned (I’m 51), is still in it’s break in period and hasn’t been over 5,000 rpm. . This is the Corse S with traction control and data logging. Oversize aluminum tank, Ohlins suspension, forged Marchisini wheels and factory Corse graphics. Comes from the factory with 2 ECU’s and two sets of pipes; the race (installed) as well as the factory exhaust and computer, passenger rear seat, and rear riding pegs. Included with the bike is the Ducati Rear stand that engages the hollow axle of the single sided swingarm.
The factory race computer runs open loop allowing full control with a power commander. There is a new Power commander V usb wired to the harness with a “zero” map installed. It’s functional but no calibrations have been loaded. I also have all the manuals, extra key and all paperwork. Included with the bike is an optional Ducati factory alarm system (which they no longer make) that has not yet been installed. I have the clear title (no loans or leans) in hand.
According to the seller, this bike is build # 240 (out of how many Ducati doesn’t say). We have already listed three of these before, so I’ll skip on in the introduction, but you can read about them here.  Instead, here’s a video of Cycle World giving the 1198s Corse Edition a good spanking at Motorland Aragon (sounds like a something out of Lord of The Rings):

The starting price of $18,000 sounds a bit high compared to others previously listed, but this one does have the lowest miles out of all of them (200 miles?!), but in any case, to drool over the nice pics (just make sure the keyboard is covered).

Pair of Suzuki GSX-R750 Limiteds for sale!

1986 Suzuki GSX-R750 and 2005 Suzuki GSX-R750 limited editions for sale in Canada.

While I’m the resident Bimota freak at RSBFS, I do have a soft spot for limited editions and homologation specials such as the Yamaha OW02 YZF-R7, the Honda RC30, and the Suzuki GSX-R750 Ltd and GSX-R750RKs.  So when I came across this pair of GSX-R750 Ltds, I just had to post it immediately for our readers:

I’m thinking of selling my LTD 750 since I don’t ride it and don’t have time for it ? 22,000 kms aprox 12K miles great shape, BONE STOCK !(except for windshield) every safety decal is still on there and reflectors as well.Asking price is $10,000.00 CDN

Just picked up a 2005 GSX-R LTD 750 , will sell it along side with the 86 for an extra 4K

Wow – $14,000 CDN for A PAIR of GSX-R750 Ltds?!  That’s got to be one of the best bargain that I have seen in a while! Note to self: have to play more lotto numbers!!

Oh, click here to see on the ad on Ducati.ms (yes, Suzuki’s for sale on a Ducati forum!)

2001 Ducati MH900E Evoluzione with Carbon Dream kit!

It’s been a while since my last post (thing called ‘work’ kept getting in the way), but hope this sweet would get things started again:

This bike is in a collector quality condition. You simply will not find a better example of this romantic, neo-clasical Ducati celbrating Mike Hailwood win at the Isle of Man TT in 1978.

With a limited production of 2000 ( this is #1598 ) and with only 1200 miles this is a rare opportunity to own the best.

This bike is part of a collection and has been handled with great care.  It is in mint condition, starts and runs perfectly, runs and handles awesome and sound incredible.

There are zero blemishes, dents, dings, scratches, paint flaws or any defects whatsoever.

Full staintune headers and mufflers. Custom carbon wheels, custon brake and clutch reservoir caps. Custom engine covers and license plate bracket. This bike has the rare Carbon Dream kit by Ducati performance. (Just the kit is selling on Ebay right now for $4995)

Original red skins, wheels, tires, manuals, pipes, muffler, tool kit, and owners plaque ships with the bike. All are in mint condition. When I say mint I mean mint. Like new.

The limited edition (2000 units total worldwide) MH900E is already a modern classic, and this one is loaded with desirable accessories (Carbon Dream kit, carbon wheels, Staintune full exhaust!) as well.  I am certain this one has been pampered as it is a part of a larger collection as the seller states (just check one the OTHER MH900E and MV Agusta F4 [Senna?] in the background in one of the photos).

Whomever the new owner will be is going to be a very happy guy (or gal)!
